Turning Taiwan–Europe connections into meaningful collaboration

Medtex brings institutions, researchers and companies together to develop biomedical and healthcare innovation partnerships between Taiwan and Europe. We identify complementary capabilities, build shared agendas and turn international engagement into practical opportunities for research, technology development and business collaboration.

Based in Ireland and working closely with Taiwanese institutions and companies, we help partners understand each other’s priorities, reach the right people and move a shared interest forward.

Connecting expertise. Creating opportunities.

Institutional collaboration

We develop cross-border programmes that connect research and industry priorities. By bringing the right institutions and experts into a shared conversation, we create pathways for technical exchange, professional training and longer-term collaboration.

European partner development

We help Taiwanese companies identify relevant European partners, communicate the value of their technology and develop focused opportunities for evaluation and collaboration.

Taiwan market insight

We help overseas companies understand Taiwan’s healthcare and innovation landscape. Market research and conversations with relevant stakeholders turn assumptions into practical insight for market development.

Taiwan–Ireland: building a programme of collaboration

MIRDC and ATU signing Ceremony

Medtex initiated and developed a year-long programme connecting Taiwan’s biomedical and industrial capabilities with Ireland’s research, engineering and healthcare innovation ecosystem. By developing proposals and securing institutional support for individual activities, we brought online exchanges, forums and professional visits into a connected programme.

The September delegation linked five organisations across three cities, deepened MIRDC–ATU collaboration and opened further discussions around technical training and industry needs.
